Homophobia and other bigotry can very much be born from ignorance and lack of interaction, I think that the characters being homophobic is meant to show level of knowledge characters like him have when they live in areas like they do. I like that it’s showing that they can change but they’re also getting the criticism they deserve for their objectively bad views and stances.

Man honestly with such good art and good looking character the author could've made a better one shot. It kinda ruined it with the whole rape for me. This could've been so much better. With a yakuza x normal guy cute story. This is just my opinion.
