I really don't like how he is now and his past and present actions hurt both him and Anette. While I understand why he is the way that he is, he makes me so terribly annoyed with how he acts. I don't understand how the future is gonna be and how the story is gonna play out because as of now I can't imagine a future with Heiner and Anette being happy together.
Both of them need therapy and a lot of help.

I hoped that the ending wouldn't be like. It's not that the novel readers want to see Edith be beaten up severely, it's just that the events that happened to Edith led to her and Killeon and they completely changed the events instead of just toning it down. The fact that it just suddenly goes to a happy ending is so anticlimactic when the novel's tragedy made Edith's ending more satisfying. They completely sanitized it and it's so disappointing. If you haven't read the novel and you're complaining about novel readers, I highly believe you shouldn't give out your opinion on the ending just because you saw novel readers summarize the novel. Go read this part of the novel yourself and you'll see how different it is.
I didn't need a word by word novel to manhwa adaptation. When Edith wasn't severely beaten up when she got kidnapped, I was relieved because I thought they were gonna go down a tragedy but lighter than the novel kind of route. But no, this is a full on no more tragedy slip everything just go happy ending route.
A good portion of you cant seem to understand the nuance in the story and how FL is truly guilty just like her father and her own family. This is a tragedy, everytime I see someone complaining about the ML and how he’s “disillusioned” and even an “incel” I just know the person leaving the comment behind can’t actually fathom the complexity of the story. If you actually decided to dig deeper and use your head and heart to process the ML’s character you’ll come to understand why he acted the way he did and that even if there was a reason, it doesn’t make it right. ML has seen what his actions has done to FL and is trying to be better, isn’t this a cliche in tragedy romance? Like another commenter said, if you won’t “forgive ML” and “his development won’t change a thing” then.. okay! But why are you even here in the first place? It’s ML’s development that’s gonna be changing the story because this is.. once again a TRAGEDY and ROMANCE manhwa.
This really deviated from the novel and I feel like it takes a lot away. I’m not sure if I’m remembering the novel details wrong but I feel underwhelmed because it’s much more tragic in the novel and I feel like the only thing the manhwa should’ve changed was Killeon and Rize’s fate.

Anyway, I adore how Nagi asked Chigiri to stop and I didn’t really like the thing Chigiri said about how he’d chase his dream even at the extent of hurting his body, maybe it’s just me but.. stuff like that isn’t sustainable and will only ruin you in the long run for a temporary win. Sometimes it seems like they’re aware that they’ll get hurt and risk it anyway. I see it often in sports and there’s debates about whether or not it’s self harm
Looking for romance fantasy that has a lot of angst. ML and FL have lots of miscommunication and there's lots of angst and makes you want to take a gun and shoot the characters and then yourself, basically..
I already know he won't get her. Instead, he should get with me.. either that or author gives him a nice partner
Yeah I don’t think I’ll be returning to this shitshow anytime soon. Isagi fans and Kaneshiro just ruined his character for me, BM only keeps winning because of them having more development due to Isagi being in their team. Kaneshiro doesn’t gaf about other characters. What happened to Bachira, Shidou, and Kunigami? Whole bullshit about Kunigami changing Blue Lock while he has barely done shit and barely got the spotlight while Isagi picked up new 275th helper and Kaiser had his cool development.
It honestly feels like Kaneshiro didn’t even know how to handle Rin’s character and just decided with the easy (lazy, and shitty too) way out which is basically making BM play dirty and making Igaguri foul Rin. I know a good portion of blue lock fans (mostly mindless Isagi glazers who skim thru chapters until Isagi does something and only keeps screaming about Isagi and how he’s either an omega twink or giga chad alpha) will dislike my comment solely because I’m actually thinking critically and not just mindlessly rooting for my fav. Early chapters were promising, I liked the way he wrote Isagi and other characters’ development. Now, Isagi is too incredibly far from other characters who aren’t as well developed, he doesn’t know how to handle Rin and his background characters and he seems to be focusing on his incel teenager boy wet dream of a hentai manga.
And before anyone says “Isagi is the mc so he’s the main focus!” I don’t give a rat’s ass. The reason why the writing has gone to shit is because he couldn’t keep a good balance between the development of the MC and bg characters. And before anyone says “You should’ve dropped it if u hated Isagi or the writing that much!” I have other characters I like and had hopes that Kaneshiro could write Blue Lock properly in the way he wrote Nagi and Reo’s break up scene and development in numerous perspectives.
