Okay so this is what happens from what I can remember, and most of this is going to be abt their romance, most of the small stuff I’m prob gonna skip over (some scenes might not be in the right order, I read the novel like 2 years ago, definitely recommend reading it tho). Tbh, after writing some of this that I noticed that they didn’t include Lucia’s other name. It made a big difference in the novel cuz Hughes would always call her Violet (or smth I forgot her other name sorry) while her close friends called her Lucia (even the nephew). And when he found out abt that, he got hella jealous and that was a big plot in the novel, dunno what they r gonna do here.
So continuing from the manhua, they continue being cold to each other even tho they like each other. I don’t remember how they specifically got back with each other but they did( but didn’t confess to each other tho). Continuing on, Lucia’s head starts hurting more and they call for a personal doctor(Hughes made a huge fit abt how the doc had to be a female too, it was hilarious). The doctor also found out they were doing it too much and so she made it so it was like once every 3 days or smth like that. In the novel this part was HILARIOUS. After the doctor put that restriction on, Hughes got hella annoyed cuz he loves Lucia and wanted to do it a lot lol. The doctor also prescribes her medicine for her headache and continues to study abt her situation with the whole pregnancy thing. Hughes continues to fight his urge to confess to Lucia, the butler(forgot his name sorry) continues to hint at him that he loves her and also tries to help solve miscommunications between them. Then one day, he finally finds the resolve to confess to her, but Lucia actually confesses to him first lol. And he was shook and was like, u stole the words from me, I was gonna say that too. During this time he made a brooch for the family and when it came she saw it and had a flash back to her past life. This part was actually really interesting. Her “husband” (in her past life) got caught for some illegal stuff and was persecuted by Hughes. Luckily Lucia was originally planning on escaping and stored jewels and food in this hidden place. When Hughes came to get the “husband” she went into hiding in the hiding space, and Hughes noticed but felt bad and left her alone but had people watch her. She knew she had to keep hidden, so she literally stayed in that place for like months without leaving, and she barely had enough food. Hughes felt bad and thought she prob died by then and also saw the jewels she was hiding (the jewelry box had very little things and was hidden outside of hiding spot) and put his brooch in the jewelry box. After Hughes left, Lucia left the spot and tried to find a place to stay. She found this house with this old lady who lost her daughter and she became the old women’s lost daughter (the old women just said she was like her daughter and pretended Lucia was her daughter, they aren’t actually related). I think she stayed there until the old women died. Afterwards she went travelling and ran into the old doctor (the one that’s in charge of taking care of the Taran bloodline). She told him her symptoms and since Hughes already destroyed everything, the doctor just gave her the original formula. And then after a while, Lucia settled down in a small cabin and lived her life, and Hughes somehow came upon this cabin and stayed there for a bit and they got to know each other. And after the end of the flashback, she was happy and sad. Sad that she didn’t remember meeting him before. But happy cuz they got to know each other even in the other life.
Well, there’s more to this, but I’m gonna stop here for today. Hoped u enjoyed it :) If u want more I definitely recommend the novel. It’s a lot more indepth

Raws??anyone??
