Because Hwayoung has threatened to kill Gyuwon if he sees him again. The brother doesn't him to get caught up with a murder charge and despite telling Gyuwon that, Gyuwon chose to see Hwayoung anyway, essentially, his brother is mad that Gyuwon is putting himself in harms way of Hwayoung because he doesn't want Hwayoung to get into trouble.

Messed up family. Instead of getting angry at Gyuwon, he should make his brother get therapy.

Perhaps its not written in black and white, but its undeniable that this fictional girl is loved by those around her and Im sure she will grow up to be a confident and healthy girl, while I understand the unreasonable standards forced upon as as girls, we may carry the scars of insecurity but its our responsibility to ensure the next generation does not feel that way. So if no one has said it to you before (and im sorry you had to go through it) Violetdepravity, eating is good for the body, money cannot buy better health, take good care of yourself!

Most of the Asian countries are like that. They favour boys over girls, do racism to their own kids and people, do body shaming and quite openly at that. I have seen many mahwas where they make people from undeveloped or underdeveloped country "tan or dark" and call them barbaric as well.
