TL;DR People in this manga got their head in the clouds thinking about how pitiful they are. BUT MASAKI AINT NO JESUS. He aint gonna save solve errybody's problems. They gotta solve em it alone and they need to stop pushing their ideals on him.

candidate one is a rich kid who we dont know much about at this point other than her being suicidal for having no freedom. candidate two is a jealous tomboy who wants to be noticed by her senpai and changes herself in order to become his woman. candidate three is a closet trans who feels he can snatch the lover position by embracing his inner woman.
they need to realize that this man needs to worry about feeding himself, getting an education and paying his old man's bills while all they're thinking about is how to get in his pants. also, he ain't no jesus aight? he is not the chosen savior that will sweep people off their feet and magically get rid of errybody's problems. he's just another poor college student who just so happened to be handsome.

I agree with most of what you said! But I don't totally agree with the part about the MC! Closet trans.....yeah, but because he's trying to figure things out for himself and kinda accept who he is and he trying to work towards that! Trying to snatch the lover position......well he really loves Misaki and he's the only one that's trying to help him! I mean his dad call offering a job to him but he thought of Misaki for it! Maybe a bit selfish cause he doesn't want Misaki to leave school, but he really does care for the guy! I mean they've been friends since high school! We can rule out his dad because the mom said she could never face his father if something happened again (which is typical phrasing used by the surviving parent when the other one is dead, and on rarer occasions when they are divorced). If the dad had done something then she wouldn't have given a sh*t about what he thought. The stepdad can be ruled out since they don't meet until the present.
The way the flashbacks are presented it was most likely a stranger, or possibly a neighbor/ teacher, or maybe a coworker/friend of the mom's. Though I lean strongly towards it was a stranger who kidnapped him, which is why they never delve farther in it because it wouldn't be necessary to develop his character further.
I think he just was abducted as a kid, not sure about anything else though. It's not the dad though.

I Think So Too. In The Beginning As Well, Natsuka Didn't Believe That They Switched Bodies So At That Moment He Could Have Played It Off As A Joke And Their Relationship Would Not Have To Be Compromised. But I'm Still Unsure If They Actually Switched Bodies But I'm One Of The Few Who Don't Support Seno In His Endeavors.
