For real like i love paula but violet is actually such a lovely person

SAMEEEE like please I love violet and paula so much I hope the author doesn't make it messy I'm tired of women fighting each other

The ML made it clear at the beginning he doesn’t love Violet in that manner, it’s just an arranged engagement. I’m not saying he doesn’t care for her but it’s certainly not romantically. So idk what you’re talking about destroying a cute couple. Violet is nice and very sweet but if the ML doesn’t love her like that, you can’t really force him to stay with her.

i get what ur saying, but violet likes him, and even without him having romantic feelings for her, they would still make an amazing couple in the long term, where they both support one another. same with paula and the brother. but when the author chooses to instead have the count and Paula together, firstly violet and the brother shall be broken, getting in the way of the current relationship between all of them. also them being of different status and everything will lead to so many unnecessary hardships . its just not worth it.

One sided relationships do not make amazing couples. It’s a lot of misery, time and effort wasted when your partner does not reciprocate your feelings. Did you not even pay attention to how she felt jealous over how Vincent acts with Paula. It’s very obvious they aren’t extremely close even though they’ve been friends for years. In regards to support, marriage is not just about support and they can do that as friends, they don’t have to get married to care for each other. Violet deserves a man who LOVES HER ROMANTICALLY, not a man who just sees her as a means of negotiation. The only way a marriage between them would work out is if he reciprocates her feelings, I don’t see that happening. I also don’t see Violet handling Vincent’s rage and depression very well.


Violet and Vincent being heartbroken over their feelings not being reciprocated is normal, that happens all the time in real life. People eventually get over it. Now the brother is cute, he’s very charming and obviously interested in Paula but the same way she and Vincent would face hardship over status, so would the brother and her. So unless she gets together with a commoner, she’s gonna face difficulty no matter what.


Now the “unnecessary” hardships that Paula and Vincent will face because of their status difference and whether or not it’s worth going through isn’t up to the readers to decide. Just because you wouldn’t put yourself through something like that does not mean it isn’t worth it. Plenty of people do it, why? Because the FEELINGS they have for each other makes it worth it.

And finally, I’m fine with Paula dating Vincent or the brother, they’re both interested in her and display different ways of showing it. I’m not so fine with Violet marrying Vincent though, I truly believe she deserves someone who will adore the shit outta of her and Vincent ain’t it.

i agree to some extent. im not a die hard shipper for violet and the count, its just if they NEED to marry someone, id prefer they get together, that way it would be certain that paulas going to end up with the brother. obviously, if they introduce a character that actually loves violet, im on their side. im completely fine with the count ending up alone.

I agree with this. In a world where most people have to settle for less, it’d be nice to see the characters here marry each other because they really do LOVE each other and have that fairytale ending.

Honestly, I’d ship Paula with Lucas too only if I can see her developing feelings for him but at this point in the story, I just see it one-sided on his part. And I think he deserves better too like every second ML who we think is the best choice but never chosen.

yes they are the same! the MC is Abel. I don't really want to give you spoilers so I can't really explain how they are the same people you're reading about. But Abel and the kid/prince are the main characters of the story.

that's because Abel (the brown-haired mc in the first few chapters) died later on and awoke in the body of the blonde in the cover.

so it's sort of a body possession type of trope.

Don't worry, keep reading, this series has the most beautiful, sad, realist, and joyful development.

Just be patient with the protagonists, they have their reasons and they are the best development of the series.
