I'm straight but I know the feeling of hiding your feelings to keep the friendship and being content with seeing the one you love happy even if the reason for his happiness was not you. Dang Deguchi was one patient and resilient man I love him. Done this for the past 13 years and still counting. I tried letting go of him and moving on hundreds of times but it never worked. Not that I'm still hoping that I have a chance but I just resigned myself to the fact that I love him and I'm already happy enough to just be in love with him. Love love love (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜

I don't know why this manga has low ratings but this is one of the best I've read so far. Real life emotions and situations, even if I'm straight and will probably not experience the struggle our mc had, I still felt it and understood a little bit more of how they live especially in places where it's still not open to same gender relationships. Art is okay and the pacing and storytelling is really good. One of the best things here is that the sex scenes were not overhyped and those little kisses made me cry too. So much for my unnecessarily long comment but I LOVE THIS.

Tired of antagonist grandmas and grandpas? This manhwa gives us the cutest and funniest ones! And I'm so happy Lingwei is such an adorable sweet bodyguard for Yiyi (if I didn't know they're cousins I'd even think they looked good together teehee ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ ) but the older brother who likes Lingwei, he looks soooo good and I think he matches Lingwei but dude's such a seme material too lmao
ROUROU MY DAILY DOSE OF FLUFF. MY PHONE IS ALREADY FULL WITH SCREENSHOTS OF YOU BABEY
I'm saddened by the fact that this wasn't written longer to make more room for character growth, it would've been a good plot otherwise.
I always feel broken after reading something that deals with a person losing his/her love to death because most of the time, the person 'saving' them would unfairly be in so much pain as well (ehem, given).
I understand how this has such low ratings tho. First, the storytelling. It was kinda messed up with how the timeline changes without much differences in art so it's kinda confusing. Second, the pacing. No need to explain further, it was fast forwarded too much that if you tend to rely on the manga to get all the info you need, you'll never understand the plot. Lastly, the translation. I thank and appreciate the the team who scanlated this but some of the translations were off so you have to reread them to understand. Nevertheless, it was an okay read so I'm giving it 4 stars since I can kind of relate to the story.
