The pacing and storytelling, as well as the character introduction and developments in this manga is simply superb! I just really hope they won't keep Soowon alive because I believe he already served his purpose. He betrayed Yona which made her strong and him being alive will just bring unnecessary pain and struggle for everyone, including Hak. I don't hate him but I don't particularly like him too so Idc if he dies of illness or he gets banished to faraway lands if he lives, just, get him away from Yona. If he really wants to help, he can do so from a distance.
I really don't understand why ppl would like yona in the throne, I mean, they already had his dad in that position and what did he do? He almost state to death all his citizens to say the least, and just like the saying goes: the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, why would kokuka citizen would want the daugther of of the tyran to rule ? When they have an amazing king who's doing a magnificent job?. You are a viewer, thus you can understand yonas character but from the citizens point of view yona shouldnt be consider an option bc her fathers actions are going to negative impact the public point of view, unless they are ignorant people or blind by religion.... Yeah, I get where you're coming from. But if you read everything up until here, it means you saw Yona's growth as a person and as a leader, and to say the least, she's still growing. She already saw the negative impact of her father's rule and she also accepted the fact that king Il was not a good ruler, for Kouka's citizens, although he was a good person. I admit, and Yona also admitted, that Soowon definitely rebuilt the trashed kingdom and seems to be a good ruler, but as the story suggests, there's a possibility that he might die. So of course, there's no other royalty worthy of the throne other than Yona, tell me otherwise. If Soowon does not die though, then that's another story.
3 stars as this was "almost" good. Just "almost" because I don't really like Towa and Youji's relationship. Whatever the reason is, and however close they are, I will never accept people in a relationship sleeping around just for the sake of it. If Youji didn't have a fiance, I wouldn't mind Towa sleeping with him even "without feelings" but a fiance, not even a girlfriend but a fiance? Hell no.

So like, we all know Sanghoo and Kyungtae likes Shiru but I seriously think that Hanjoon does too. That white haired megane-kun who's about to stir things up would probably fall for her too and Hayeon would just feel like a sore loser. I actually think that most of Shiru's acquaintances will react like how Yuri did when they learn that Shiru is actually a girl because, dude, girl or boy, Shiru is still cool, pretty, handsome, strong, and kind.
P.S. Since we all know Shiru will end up with Sanghoo and I ship Hanjoon with Yuri, can I just take Kyungtae home? He's such a sweetheart ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
I would never have read it patiently if it was any other manga because the author would need a lot of creativity for something like this to work, but dang, this chapter patched the holes of the plot and it's worth reading all the build up from previous chapters. The only thing I 'm sad about this manga is the super slow release of every chapter. The wait is killing me TT
I really liked this manhwa but now I just feel sad for the emperor. I've seen some unwanted spoilers and I don't really like how this is going. Paul is very loyal and I like that about her but I think the emperor deserves to have a decent love life too. I mean, Donau's story already broke my heart and what, another decent man will get his heart broken and our main couple doesn't even get a decent ending although it was a happy ending? This is so sad but what can I do? I love this so I'll just keep on reading..
