i’m sorry but idc how bad the translation is,, not denying that it is 100% better to read a nice translation and important things get lost in context but maybe from years of reading chinese manhua with mtl that im just desensitized and i can guess pretty well what is going on

SAME u learn to connect context by using other words as clues if smth doesnt make sense. ppl yelling in the comments prob dont know any better since they used to a higher standard
I feel the same way. A top-notch translation is always best, but I'm totally cool with the iffy ones. Been reading for like 20 years, and after going through thousands of sketchy translations and raws, I've kinda trained my brain to make sense of it all. It's not perfect, but it works well enough that I can either ignore the bad translations or just get the gist from the pictures. Plus, I work with toddlers, so if I can figure out their scribbles and babble, a wonky translation is a piece of cake, haha.
BOY them Chinese manhuas would get you good this is NOT as bad as that

i feel like if you go into this thinking it’s strictly romance you will be disappointed,, i love this story, the art, and the characters but not because of perry and the dukes love story the main focus is on her relationships with all the lapelions and resolving the mystery behind the curse which has claimed so many lives and is very convoluted
while the duke has def fallen for her and we are seeing glimpses of it, perry still has a lot of worry and concerns and i think as she resolves them she will have more time to develop feeling for him
i might be the odd one out but idc about favoritism lmao when i reading anything historical i leave most morals at the door cause 1st it’s fantasy not real and 2nd id be a hypocrite because the whole feudal system with kings and nobility is a lot more fucked up than some tragic possible heir to the throne ,,,

In one scene they look exactly alike like I mean escaped the womb on the same day alike from the same mother.
usually in manhwa though, they use different hair or eye color to differentiate characters. Eg. having the same shade of red hair or eyes could be a hint that two characters are related. In the same way, an artist can draw two characters with two different shades of blue hair to show they're not related at all. In this manhwa, they didn't do that with Eric and Marianne (forgot how to spell her name). Not to mention that the faces the artists draw for different characters tends to look similar

i really like this story ive always wanted a role reversal and it’s giving me everything thing i wanted,,, i also like that it’s a true harem it lets me ship to my hearts content
honestly this is personal bias because my own sister reminds me of ria....
ria while she can be annoying, her i think shes childish she’s also a bit conceited but not enough to make dislike her i guess i’m just fond of her she isn’t our typical badass smart fl but her personality is what allows all the playful bickering she has with catiel
i think i’m the only person enjoying this story i mean i’m not defending the ML he’s awful in an ideal world the 2nd ML would get the girl but in a weird, twisted, way i’m hoping he grovels at her feet
i’m enjoying this train wreck of a story not in a conventional way because there toxicity and lack of communication would usually drive me insane but i decided not to take this story too seriously
I’m enjoying his suffering and her constant hatred so in a way I’m having fun.but I do hate how to story refuses to let her have any wins so idk
