he just gets dreams of occurrences from the 1st timeline and that’s how he begins to become interested in her too because she shows up in his dreams at least that’s how i understood the spoilers

And the slow burn will just get slower from what i’ve heard, but i actually don’t mind as much this was very war/politics oriented to begin with. according to the novel spoilers while nora did respect and admire her dedication to the children given that he had such bad relationships with his parents but it was not necessarily love,,, i like this a lot better though the art of them together is so ethereal
while annoying the misunderstanding she has are valid the novel she read focused on her douche ex boyfriend and the heroine, she was the villain
she didn’t know the emperor was using her as a way to control her dad, she didn’t know the crown prince was actually on her father’s side. the novel ended after she killed herself so to her they are also enemies
like if ur cold father who is loyal to the emperor all of a sudden started treating u nice if an engagement with the cp came up i too would feel suspicious

i think it’s been covered that even in modern times she was a top tier surgeon and while sure it may not be super realistic neither is going back in time and rembering the past, nor is the special abilities the royal family has
