I thought the comment section would be bombarded with rants about the huge age gap between Connie and Randolph seeming how they're the main couple. Yet there's nothing about it. Maybe its because all these people that are old and already have children looks so young, like they're in their early twenties or mid twenties. Also it may be because the author never really disclosed their age.

I mean I'd be glad if Connie was actually between those ages but I assume that Connie was actually younger than Neil who just turned 17. Especially since if she was 18-25 that'll be weird considering how noble women are usually married off before they turn 20. So I assume that Connie is somewhere along the ages of 15-17. That's still a big gap. I'm not sure about Randolph but if we were to use my assumption of the male being older than the female and apply that to lily and Randolph then I guess I'd like to go with 28 since lily got married or engaged at 25 (I think if I can remember).

Well currently there's nothing romantic ongoing and maybe there won't be anything romantic happening for a while, and if there is I hope it'll be after a time gap or smt cause yea an age gap isn't really something bad as long as all the ppl involved are adults, currently it's bothersome as you said. I hadn't really thought of the age gap so now I am worried about it
