The story isn't romanticizing stalking, they are constanly shaming him for doing that and talking how bad it is.
But even if it didn't critize stalking, who cares? I like reading spicy and problematic stories. The thing is, it's not real, it's just fiction.
We all know that obsessive stalkers aren't actually hot perfect boyfriends from ultra rich families that will love you forever and die for you. We know but let girls dream.

I feel bad for the innocent girl that Micheol seduced. She literally just liked a guy and got manipulated. So awful.

Idk why y'all blaming a victim. If you have ever been in love you would know how easy it is to be manipulated.
She didn't pursue a guy in a relationship, she saw a single guy and fell in love. She was told that the MC was just a family member and then she was later manipulated into believing that MC is some divorced crazy psycho woman that can't let go. She literally has no clue what the truth is and can't find out.
Imagne if you were in her shoes, you'd be fucked and a victim.
Both MC and the girl are victims.

She is not his wife. They are divorced and let's see if you can call victims of domestic violence stupid because they married a guy that wasn't beating them before. According to you, they are victims of their own stupidity no?
Sometimes the red flags are there but you just overlook them because you love a person.
Literally the same thing happened to the MC. She got manipulated into believing her. In fact, she is divorced now, he was even beating her at one point, he got her into debts and he even cheated on her and she still has it in her to forgive him. Why? Because she is in love and he is a good manipulator. You could call her a victim of her own stupidity but in fact she is just a victim of his.
Please, think.
If one man can manipulate one woman this much he can manipulate another just as easily.
Talking to people like this makes me realize why many people blame victims and don't believe them even if the evidence is there.
Do you really have a heart that is so black to not see this?
Just because you sympathize with the MC doesn't mean you have to hate a victim that is destroying MC's life without realizing it. She doesn't know the full truth!!!!

If you are not reading all that then you won't get the point.
She left and then he manipulated her into staying.
As I said previously, with your logic, you can blame the MC for not having common sense either but she is a victim of a manipulator. Just like the other girl.
Is your reading comprehension flawed? Why can't you understand that?
Your heart is black.

of course i blame the MC for sticking with that arrogant bum for all those years
but the thing is unlike ari she did not have money, parents who pay for her stuff or even a sustainable job she was basically forced into that life having that ginger as the only person "besides her"
ari is a girl around my age she's not a baby she went through highschool and college she should know that men LIE.
she was not "manipulated" into staying she chose to close her eyes and believe the obvious lies
she could've asked her friends for advice, asked the mc, could've even did a lil background check on her "bf" but noooo just a hug and a few lies were enough to fool her? how easy can a person be ffs

I don't understand Noah's motivations at all. We barely ever hear him talk and when he does the heroine always stops him.
Then he cooks up something randomly to fuck with the main cast but it feels... staged?
There doesn't seem to be any logic behind his actions other than just being "the bad guy" he has no character outside of that, there is no depth. He suddenly he loves the heroine but.. why?
Like, maybe I'm missing something. Am I the only one that feels like this?

It could be because his only purpose in the original story was as a love interest so he doesn't have any other personality trait or character development. Like we see Luke is doing investigations and Reynold is always training but Noah's only occupation is "being the prince". Without the original story he has no reason to exist or to change, he's just an npc. And that would also explain why he said the same words to Aerinda that he said to Serena when he confesses his feelings, it's almost like the plot is forcing him to continue..
There is a lot of Riftan haters but you gotta understand he only cares and loves her and wants to protect her because he is aware how fragile she is.
She is not trained for battle, she can barely ride a horse and her physical endurance is abysmal.
It's obvious that he would be worried because he is in love.
