Reading this was so good, it is very very well written, I like everything about it
The characters, story, the plot
The development was really good, the author really fleshed out the story properly
I love how realistic the story is in portraying these kinds of relationships and the struggles that come with it, it wasn't easy for the both of them but I'm glad they got over it and grown as a couple.
Sometimes you can't get what you want, you gotta make compromises and thats what they did, it was a good decision, they still share the same love for badminton and that will never change, their relationship is so healthy, supporting and loving each other, I'm so happy for them

Okay reading some of the comments I get why there are criticisms but in my point of view, the behaviours of both characters were completely justified and couldn't be helped, they're not stupid, they just needed time to talk about the elephant in the room.
Hodaka was aware of that, in the first place the both of them decided they were gonna keep on playing together, he knows it well, what he said.
That is the very fact that he found it hard to break it to Naruse.
Naruse on the other hand, I wouldn't call it "forcing his dreams on someone"
His behaviour is completely understandable considering how they shared the promise for years and he believed it to be true
Its only natural for him to keep bringing up his excitement knowing he thought that Hodaka would be his partner.
Anyways those are just my thoughts, all I can say is
I can never hate on them they are so precious, they just dont wanna let their partner down and want to be together
Other thoughts:
I love how this manga focused on this type of plot, it was very refreshing to see two adults work out their problems and finding their purpose.
The first story and the story bout the guy rescuing the other guy from a molester was good, they became good couples,
BUT WTH WAS UP WITH THAT CREEP AND THE SCHOOL NURSE SO FREAKING WEIRD AND CREEPY BEHAVIOUR
Right? This could’ve been great if not for those 2 stories!!! What’s this obsession with rape ffs???
I love how there isn't a vulnerable one out of them like
They protect the other in their own way and it's so cute ><
Both of them are so smitten and just finds ways to get closer each time
I loved reading this, it took me through a whole rollercoaster ride of emotion from heartwarming to confusion, embarrassment, and satisfaction I really enjoyed it.

I liked reading this coz I found the mc super relatable, as someone who overthinks, overshares, and is a constant yapper when I get comfy I GET THIS MAN
I kinda have a love hate relationship because its giving "I'm in this post and I dont like it" LOLL but yk what Im glad we got representation over here HE IS SO ME RAHHHH
The writing is so so good, I loved how they portrayed the characters, their experiences and interactions, and lets talk about the ml when we DIDNT know his pov, its like I was experiencing the same confusion as mc like BRO WHAT ARE U THINKING
Just a continuation but I was pulling out my hair coz of how CONNIVING THIS GUY WAS like bro knows how to act innocent and clueless BUT HE KNOWS, HE KNEW
And he keeps provoking mc its actually frustratingly smart like
Well I get it, mc is an open book, and literally the most obvious guy but
Why he gotta look at him like (•‿•)
*Teased him about him being the person that mc wanted to come over
*Acted like he was gonna kiss mc but stop
Its actually funny how he thinks he's all that
"Oh did you think I was gonna kiss you?"
"Oh you just wanna be with me huh, you said you were leaving but your feet didnt move an inch"
Blud it was raining and mc didnt have an umbrella LMFAOO
My last thoughts, this is definitely going in my liked reads list, it was so fun it stirred me up like how they both did to each other, so satisfied with the ending (although kinda wished for more extras and information abt ykyk, their relationship and all that, like what happens next)

I love the storytelling
Both characters were so pure and in love and yet immature at the same time. They were just young and they didn't know better
Honestly it struck a chord in my heart reading the whole thing and feeling bad about them but in the end it was all so good and wholesome
The fact that both of them couldnt stop yearning for each other even after years of no contact
The cake revealing chitose's name is the one thing that truly truly got me
UR IMPLYING THAT EACH YEAR, ON CHITOSE'S BIRTHDAY, HE CELEBRATED WITH A CAKE
HE DIDNT BREAK HIS PROMISE, he truly loved him and still does.
Very happy for them, guess they will celebrate like crazy every year (theyre so cute )
This was a really good read, very interesting to see different animals interact with each other
Plus i liked the premise of the mc seeing animals different making him able to talk with them.
Gotta say tho, I want to know more about him and Oka, pls Im so invested
