i am sorry but sooji literally forced himself into deokhae. he always decided things for deokhae even when deokhae didnt want it especially the dating part. deokhae was drunk ffs and hes taking advantage over it. sooji is manipulative person and deokhae is also a pushover. who knows if sooji sincerely likes deokhae or he likes him just bcs he was a worker of minhee’s company and he wants to mess up with minhee? minhee is better imo. he didnt realise his feeling for deokhae. all he knew was he wanted to see deokhae and make him stay away from sooji hence he pulled the overtime work. he might be abusing his power a little bit but its better than sooji whos trying to manipulate a drunk person.

i think the author made a deliberate (and fckin weird) choice here to create this relationship with an honestly predatory age gap. no amount of "historical accuracy~~" can fix that imo.
