Maybe because of the way author processes it. The flashback and current time sometimes confused me. The author put flashback randomly among the current time without warning so I have to reread whenever it updated to keep up with story

I live for Ciel's personality and the development of this ark. Literally everything that has happened in this entire manga was for this very moment (this ark). I'm very excited to see where sensei goes with the plot as to keep things this interesting. Very impressed so far. I love the "right under your nose" sort of reveals!
