Please tell me Touma ends up with senpai. I am tired of clueless straight jerks getting their man! Nope nope nope. Touma has never once interfered with his relationships but he out here complaining bout perfume and why he out so late? NO. I REFUSE.
Edit: Don't read past the spoiler in this thread if you don't want the conclusion revealed. I replied to the post without realising it would quote the paragraph the lovely person went to so much effort to hide lolol. Sorry!
I too am tired of this kinda shit. Ughhh so heartwrecking. When side characters needs to deserve more.
spoiler.....
it will not be the senpai, it will be take.. he will break up with his girflriend and get together with touma..
What I appreciate most about this story is that it shows the real downside to having near crippling insecurities. It's often played off as cute, endearing, and an opportunity for that partner to be spoilt; as if it's a desirable characteristic almost. But these kind of anxieties really can erode a relationship until the other partner is exhausted...when it does feel as if there is no room for them because the only thing on the other person's mind is themselves. It's another kind of self-absorption. There's a really good panel in March Comes in Like a Lion in which the MC says that he was so distracted by his loneliness that he couldn't pick up on other people's. So I'm glad this was explored. Excellent stuff for a debut title!

Is it weird that I enjoy the flashbacks in Blood Bank and get completely impatient with the ones in Royal Servant? This is interesting enough, I guess, but I'm dying to get back to the original timeline...
Not at all xD Personally I only like the flashbacks in Moritat. Kinda weird tho that Blood Bank, Royal Servant, & Moritat are all having flashbacks at the same time tho ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Well, I think it is weird, when the timeline explains a bit more about the story that was originally just all about the old cliche rapist getting a pass because he's got a 'tragic past'. But, ah, well, guess that's just me....
I haven't tried Moritat, yet! I'm waiting for Idk what. It's going to be one of those situations where I start it and kick myself for waiting so long to join in lol.
There's plenty of comments with other readers who are as into the backstory, esp for the pink haired dude, so you have plenty of company. For me, everything in the backstory is by definition cliched...MCs with dead parents killed tragically and blah blah are everywhere.
I think I'm more interested in Blood Bank's flashbacks because that story is more well-developed, with better world building, and a more intriguing range of characters.
Honestly, I'm not all that into flashbacks unless it's used to highlight something in the character's personality or to display something important. However here it's just already restating what we already know. And while I do like the pink haired character, I don't see why we need a flashback about him that spans over several chapters
If you liked Blood Bank, you must read Moritat!! It's such a riveting read, with a set of intriguing characters and a plot that has the reader at the edge of their seat. Having had read all the Manhwas being released lately, my favorites were Moritat and Never Understand.
