I really loved that last chapter that was told from Akira's point of view. Many times I feel like the story would be far more interesting if it was told from the guy's PoV, instead of the heroine's.

The boy, specially in that cover shot, he looks A LOT like another character in some other story I can't seem to recall!!!
IIRC, that other boy was also pretty serious and kind of quiet, but I think that story had a love triangle, I think...
Just remembered, it's that one with the girl that moves to live with her uncle, and her uncle's friend happened to be her homeroom teacher, who's a bit weird but nice so she gets a crush on him. One of her classmates is this boy that avoids girls like the pest because he blushes uncontrollably if they touch him, but the girl doesn't care and pretty much forced him to be her friend.
That boy looks like the one on here :D

I would've assumed it was something like nail polish, but it wouldn't have gotten that reaction out of the teacher, right?
That item is a product to produce fake tears. :D I can't tell whether it's a chapstick or not but what is evident is that the teacher used it in order to give Kisen-kun a push. That's why Kanoko has such a reaction bc she realized that the teacher's tears were staged by herself XD. Such a cunning but caring teacher, right? ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
Ahhh that makes sense. Kind of feel bad for Kisen-kun, considering he seemed to grow some feelings for her, but probably she just used that to make things work in the end.
I can see that it's good to have a caring teacher, but I really don't like manipulative people people, even if they do it for a good cause :/

I really, REALLY love how Miyamura is completely unaffected by gender differences... like he doesn't disregard men liking other men or himself, thinking it's the same as if they were women. To the point that Hori is more jealous of guys than girls (because to her, him liking another guy is more wrong than a girl?).
I dunno, I don't think of it as "subtle BL", I think he just sees everyone fairly as humans not men or women.
I think to her it is just a lot more sad/ hateful to lose your bf to a guy than to another girl. What can you do if you lose to another guy? Nothing!!
True, although I think that would the case if he were to come out as gay, but if he'd still be interested in girls, she'd have the same fighting chance :)
