She never much on a mission and all her actions have reflected that not only, does she want to protect this man because of the other woman's wishes and uncover what happened to her, but she has some feelings of her own toward him.
Even then she's very unaware of the politics of this population for it to really bother her. She mainly just does as told and is on guard when she feels unsafe, which makes this even weirder. y is she still wearing that stupid necklace, why did she let him get close enough to put it on her and take off the old one? And why didn't she snatch away the other one?

Also the art is cool in some areas and very weird in others that it doesn't work for long term viewership.

Half the chapters are a mess and even that couldn't fix this story.
It's a decent concept but it's very poorly executed.
The pacing, the characters....it's all...so bland and flat and it's not engaging at all.

Calm down, the MC didn’t know anything the first timeline and she is doing the best she can with the limited power she can. Plus what is important is the plot and the character development. Instead being a spoiled naive princess the MC is waking up to reality and trying her to make things right for her little sister. The one you should be hating on is the other sister and the king right now for their attitude and what they have done to the youngest sister
She was raised as a precious princess. She is a sun in her family. It’s obvious she’s precious. Look at her status? She’s not a beggar from the street, nor her mother is a lowly maid. She has rightful privileges. Like, hello, she’s princess?
She wasn’t obligated to help her sister since she never really met her properly and saw her on few occasions. MC could have been a bully if she wanted to. She didn’t intervene when smth was happening because she has her own palace and her own maids and this child wasn’t working under her.
She’s not doing a bare minimum. She’s not a child anymore, so she can’t understand her sister well + her sister went through a lot of trauma so of course she doesn’t know how to act around her. When someone has big trauma it’s not easy to communicate with them. Patience is needed and the MC has it. If she did bare minimum then she probably would’ve send this child back to where maids live after feeding her and washing her body. Do you even realize that princesses didn't bath by themselves? Maids are for it.
She has a character and she’s gradually developing. She’s just not like a MC from “Villainess […]” kinda story. If you aren’t ready for soft, loving and gentle characters then don’t read this? I’m sure you’ll find something that you’ll like better.
But I agree with the Duke. His interest in her is without a sense. He should be the one removed from the story.
