Tbh, this started really well but recently, now he's on his own tangent and growing, it's become a bit empty and boring.
His journey is an unappealing slow uphill that feels souless in contrast to when it started. I think I might actually drop this.
But if it gets better maybe I'll pick it back up when more chapters r out.

don't know why you got downvotes. i agree. i honestly liked it the best when he was interacting with the White Dragon. but with his "journey", i find myself skimming through most of the recent chapters nowadays.
They got downvotes because some people disagree with you and the OC, like my own self for example. Some people like this kind of story and its development. Sure, we're not in the majority, but we've got our own interests. Normally, by this time, I would stop reading entirely and move on to something else. But I like leaving this alone for a few updates, then binging those new chapters.
I'm not devaluing your interest in this sort of development, but the whole pull of this manga was the beginning where he was this character sort of struggling to recreate items for his modern day knowledge to solve problems and being recognized as a genius for it.
I like those sorta plots where the mc is sorta amazing at what they do but now it's just a guy....climbing mountains and stuff talking to himself.
It feels like it's lost alot of magic, like filler content tbh.
That was part of the pull, in my opinion, but not entirely (for me). Since the beginning, I could see which direction the story was aiming for because I've read so many that are in this sort of fantasy martial arts genre, but I did like the doctor element. It was a nice change from the usual. If you want more medical scenes and less martial arts, I recommend the manhwa, "I Reincarnated as a Legendary Surgeon", as a better choice for you (if you haven't already read it).

I braved through it and 47 was my breaking point. His discipline and his "friend" are being beaten and tortured and his discipline has so much faith in him it hurts.
He's such a coward to the point it isn't funny anymore.

That was my first thought but she actually went over why she can't do it. The first problem is that it would cause international chaos. Losing the saint would cause anarchy across borders.
The second problem is that too many people know what she looks like. She could be abducted.
The last thing she said is because she was sick most of her life in the hospital she doesn't really know how to live on her own. Especially in a time period and world very much unlike her own.
Yeah, all that money and jewels were specifically FOR HER. SHE COULD JUST TAKE IT AND LEAVE
But her moral compass isnt gonna allow that. If she was as free as that then she wouldve just enjoyed her time with luxury and men rather than fullfil her saintess duties. She takes it seriously and even spent countless nights trying to memorize stuff.
And knowing that shes the saintess it probably will be very hard for her to even escape and not be recognized. Shes always followed by the church people as well. If she escapes the knights would prob find her in no time and it be embarrassing for her
