12 years is so old to learn the first second language :o I was 6 when I had my fiest english class as my second language. I think children learn more when they are younger than when they grow up. It's too bad :( But yeah it's not our fault at all ! The best we can do is toi teach to young people around us, plus it will also help us to learn about others languages hehe

Yea, infants are literally sponges do it's best to teach them like straight out of the womb, because it not only introduces them to new cultures but also teaches compassion. Such as, a child who meets someone who speaks a different language will immediately switch to that language in order for that person to communicate more comfortably. So cute
