Background: at this point, he's pissed at her for running off on her own and not taking care of herself (she's the empress so she's an important person). Since she's the empress, other men can't just touch her so he had no choice but to do everything and let her ride his horse.
But this is the first time she sees her vulnerable since she's always the independent, confident woman that she is.
I know people still don't like the ML but he'll come around. He'll start to appreciate how awesome it is to have a partner and not just someone who'll share his bed with.
The ML here is the one who'll have the most character development in the story. :)
yeah, manga is not that detailed. so his good points are overshadowed by the silly parts. I liked his developments. Of course I hated him at first but he went from 0 to 100 real soon. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
