I already spoiled in the topic below about the seme's psychopathic so called "love" and his sleeping around.
From my understanding based on spoilers of novel readers. The seme is a psychopath so his love and empathy is to be extremely doubted. He sees sex as a dominating act to conquer weaker ones. He can't conquer taeui the uke so he gets intrigued. It seems like a obsession rather than a romantic story or passionate one.
On top of it all, seme sleeps with the guy whom uke is seeing while seme himself has little feelings for uke.
