Shit, if anything makes a power couple, it's that. I also love that both of them are take-no-bullshit characters. This is awesome. Definitely one of my all time favorites. Neither of them have shame. I think that's f*cking fantastic.
I am kinda glad to see an uke completely unaffected by the seme after getting in bed with him. It;s refreshing to see the character isn't that much of a pushover. Yes, I am one of those people who look forward to the betrayals lol. Rape can not be determined outside of the mind and intentions of the parties involved. So, I agree with you, what appeared to be rape in one person's view was desired intercourse to the other. The victim is the final arbiter of the designation of rape. If the victim says it isn't, it isn't. Full stop. (This is why rape is so hard to prosecute when the parties involved are partners.) Although, I do have to disagree with you n the "he's a man" part. Rape is actually more common than you think among men, but it isn't reported for the reason you stated... they are men they can take it. In reality, the psychological effects are equal to or greater than that of a female victim. Rarely is it less. Otherwise, though, what you said was spot on.
No, no, I definitely agree that men are victims of rape. I'm only saying that because then can be victims just like females, does not automatically make them as helpless. I am aware that victims of rape can go into a state of emergency which mimics "playing dead", making them fully incapable of doing anything due to the fear. I only meant that his strength as both a person and ability to fight back shouldn't be so underestimated.
