I mean he flat out said I wanna remarry and he be kissing her and other stuff not shown here but is in the light novel (so I’ve heard), but she really doesn’t feel anything for him? She keeps thinking “he shouldn’t joke around like that” but like damn girl. He always seemed like a very serious dude, nothing really points to him just playin around. Didn’t he tell himself that he mistook his feelings for Dolcea (or am I thinking of another story?)??? I’m confusion rn.
Love this story and the ending!!!! Also the extras! But like…where Cliff at? Like damn, he could have had a redemption arc or something but is this guy just genuinely obsessed and nuts? I’m literally soooo curious as to where he went. If he gets a happy ending with the author, idk how to feel about that because the author doesn’t deserve a happy ending. Also, lowkey justice for Rheze or whatever her name is spelled like- like damn they shipped her off. Love the story and all but it’s just like- a lot of people in this story get the short end of the stick and it kinda sucks for them and it makes me sad :

So the manhwa did change a lot. In the novel side stories, Cliff and lize got married and had many arguments due to lize showing her true selfish self. Lize did something to try and fool the royal family then evil lize got sent away to a monastery and divorced with cliff due to orders of the emperor. Cliff was heartbroken but he eventually moved on and got remarried to a new lady who’s nice, and gave him the kind of comforting and peaceful love. Edith and killian have a good relationship with him and chose to forgive him.
Oh brotherrrrrr, how does he keep f*cking up. Sometimes I feel like he aboutta do the right thing and then it’s a swing and a miss. Like bruhhhhhhhhhhhhh
And I hate that’s how these stories always go, they’re almost in the right direction of making amends. THEN THEY SAY SOME FUCK SHIT TO RUIN IT EVEN MORE ┗( T﹏T )┛
I saw a lil reel on IG or YouTube short or whatever and it literally baited me with cute kids and a cute couple. I WAS BAITED I TELL YOU! This story, I hate it. I hate every character. It was so hard to read the beginning 50 chapters. I wanted to actually throw up with the closet scene, not only did it happen once but twice. I screamed. Like what the actual hell. I wouldn’t recommend this to my worst enemy omg. The art was nice at least but at what cost god damn. I wanna go back to the person I was before I found this.
If you read this author's In My Closet, you'll be surprised how healthier and fluffy it is... Ntm that work came before this and the other one.
