i thought it was more on the writers stand point for having a weird father son fetish. me personally no it’s gross, even adding falling for your son is weird, but the author making the story in the first place shows where their mind is. i feel like the mc didn’t like the ml at ALL, like he was genuinely a little disgusted when the ml confessed. idk i just thought it was just showing how manhwa writers have a father son fetish, not the author specifically trying to convey grooming

You may be right, glad somebody else noticed the weird father son fetish going around. I still remember when the author of Thirst went crazy and near the end made ML emotionally and kind of physically cheat on MC with his own father.

Just to add to that, you all remember that MC did not have a lot of compassion for Taeshin. He has been harassed by him for like the last ten years. I would get a restraining order.

That one year in prison isn't enough redemption. You yourself acknowledge it. The fact that MC still getting back with ML and ML still have to live happy ending well without too much redemption is just suck. Saying MC isn't that care to Taeshin, the SA victim, just to justify MC choice to be with ML is lame. This story just about two psycho that meet and compliment each other.

ML is the cause of Taeshin's, the dead friend, suicide. He drove Taeshin into hell and caused him to be a boy toy for disgusting elites. ML did that to get some advantages from it. ML is just a type to use anything for his purpose, a cold blooded bastard.

After MC finds out, ML will just do the lame redemption ever. Nobody really get a fuck about Taeshin. MC reported ML just to wash his little bit of guilty feelings to someone he ever know; Taeshin.

Well yeah, if I was MC I wouldn’t give a fuck about Taeshin too, he harassed him for years, often calling in the middle of the night to rant about his sex life. Messaging until he picks up.

Indirectly, have you all not read the spoilers? ML never liked Taeshin, if you read: “Beast Must Die” you probably know about crazy parties and bringing people as tributes, Taeshin was a tribute, what they did to him caused him to want to die.

Nonetheless, it can't be a justification for Taeshin to be SA-ed. MC can just drove Taeshin away and draw the line, but he didn't because Taeshin is the very few people who still stay in his life. The fact that MC still be with a man who's okay to make someone unalive himself because of sexual assault, is just fucked up.

especially since (in my reading) the writing implies that mc actually was fond of and close-ish to taeshin despite saying the opposite. why else would he feel such loyalty to him, or guilt over his death, or feel he’s the only one who went to visit him at the funeral?

mc has self-destructive behavior probably stemming from his mother’s death, etc., and his perspective makes his fairly normal if detached behavior to relationships seem worse.

Yeah, I thought that the patience that MC had with Taeshin was amazing. Any normal person would try to distance themselves. I can’t imagine somebody calling at 3 in the morning just to rant about how their sex life is going, or spam my phone with messages until I picked up.
