This is like those old yaoi memes with the bottom looking like a kid sitting on the shoulder of a fucking gigantic man. Also it’s horrible how low the standard of BL is compared to other genres.
I don’t really like promiscuous characters and I think that if the story starts with sex, then the author most likely is just making it for profit and not to tell a story. I know a lot of you like mindless smut though. I think it’s a pity, because the art looks beautiful and it’s rare to have a dark skinned MC.
What the fuck is going on? I decided to come back when there were more chapters since it looked promising and this is what I get? Stereotypical abusive ML and rape.
The only solution I see is the bottom killing the ML, then killing himself. It would be nice to take out everybody involved, but I don’t think it’s realistic.
Somebody explain to me why Ian suddenly wants to have sex with the Emperor, even though he knows he sees him as Brian's replacement and Ian still didn’t become Brian. This doesn’t make sense.The Emperor said he didn’t care that he doesn’t remember, but that doesn’t mean shit. It’s been clear that Ian not remembering can’t stop the Emperor from using him.
Not everything needs to be sexual or explicitly romantic. This story doesn’t focus on a romantic or sexual relationship and it’s okay. Romantic subtext is obviously present in the story, but the focus is different. The author never erased the queer elements and didn’t make the characters suddenly straight when this gained popularity, like some of you imply. Not every story needs constant sex scenes and rape. Look at this not as only a BL.
The authors are still doing the same plot over and over again. To me it looks like yaoi became a quick cash grab. Most stories that come out are just copies of old stuff or contain a shocking amount of brutal stuff like rape and abuse just to get any attention. All attention is positive for people like that.
