I am happy to read this story and I am thankful for translator, but...Is is really necessary to write so many rude comments even across his face? I get it he is annoying and bad and it is frustrating, but it completely ruined it.

You know how Asian families are, contrary to western culture there's not really something like NSPCC instead it genuinely is considered discipline - and above all loyalty is to family - even if it's fucked up

Apologises, of course there are exceptions - I'm just generalising because the vast majority of Western families I've encountered would say that hitting a child in any circumstance is horrendous and unforgivable
And doesn't that kind of prove their point, too...? The fact that they would need to go to the slums in the first place...?
