I hate how even after the mirror room scene, Ruby received no apology from everyone who treated her unfairly. They did acknowledge her as the future Duchess of Omerta and I think that’s what she really needed, a place to belong to. Being acknowledge meant that she’s there to stay for a long time. Still it irks me how she didn’t receive even one apology.
Even with the tea party incident. Everyone taking Freya’s side and assuming Ruby was bad/rude or whatever. The two young children are the only ones who showed concern for Ruby. And when they witnessed the ‘kiss’, those ‘adults’ had the audacity to feel betrayed and deceived by Ruby when they didn’t try to get know and understand Ruby and even clear out the ‘rumors’.
The crazy part is that they ignored Ruby's body language from the whole interaction because they wanted to fulfill their bias. Even if they have been nice to Ruby, they still didn't trust/care about her so they just went along with the rumors
Can someone tell me the chapter where the mc is in a meeting-like situation with S-class hunters. I think it was the first time he’s revealing his ‘skill’ and Peace. He was also arguing that he’s brother is kind and the world’s best or something like that.
