Well...specifically she wanted to fix her relationship with her son. She didn't really mention about the husband. And right now she and her husband are at odds as to how to raise the son.
Moreover she only went back a few years in time. Even if you WANT things to be better it doesn't mean you'll know how to fix it.
Keep in mind, he left her while she was pregnant to go to war. To her she probably wasn’t flirting, but just being friendly. She doesn’t really think of herself as desirable, as she believes she’s old and bc of her child and stuff. Keep in mind, she just wants to be understood, so does he, but would you think your husband loves you if he left you for months when you were pregnant? No, you wouldn’t. With this Manhua, judging on a superficial level doesn’t work. Because these characters have SO MUCH going on
