The concept is good, character designs are gooooodddddd. The writing's fine.
I just dropped it because it wasn't really to my tastes. It's not that the story's bad or anything. It's a matter of preference.
I don't like obsessive main characters much. Apparently I did when I was younger, but now I realized I don't like it.
I found out I wasn't into slave and master dynamic in a couple. Then obsessive psycho boy/girlfriend. So yeah, I don't think I like this the same amount most do.
Don't worry, I read until the hundreds. Trust me when I say it has a good plot and storyline. Please don't let my comment discourage you from reading this masterpiece.
It gets SO corny when he just keeps going on about how he wants to hurt her friends and how he doesn't care about his empire at all and only wants her. Considering he's an emperor in charge of thousands of innocent lives it doesn't sit right with me that he never cared or thought about them at all. So yeah probably a good choice for you to drop it considering your preferences
The concept is fine, not good, not bad, just mediocre. The art though. Ugh. I'd do anything to be with the older brother. He's ML material. I was really devastated when they gave him a match in the story. They should've let him stay single and give him for us readers to fantasize about.
The character designs are good. But the storyline? Not so much. The pacing is too poor. They had to drag the story just for the FL to settle her feelings for Ex but the elements added in between to keep the readers entertained is not fun at all. They don't make sense and does not contribute to the story either. I'm talking about her recruiting a foreign child from the slums only to forget her in the next chapter.
They also forgot Nivea, the girl who was supposedly the chosen one who snatched the FL's position. The story forgot her existence entirely like a cockroach.
Honestly, the writing is bad for me but the art is too good to pass up so I read and read. Didn't make me feel any better at all.
The couple didn't feel like a couple, even if ot did, their romance wasn't interesting. They also moved past the ML's manipulations and the things the FL suffered because of them. Like some kind of a plot armor.
FL also fell too fast. It honestly felt like she never learned from her mistake and fell for another toxic guy. Girl's a psycho magnet.
I would honestly enjoy this much better had they just made the older brother the main character. Not with her of course, but with someone else and feature their romance. Or better yet, a story featuring their parents' story! I bet they'd be more exciting to read.
Their parents are a fun couple I would invest a story into.
Honestly, I didn't enjoy this story. It had bad writing, poor character choices, and a plot armor on the ML. Too bad, the art was astonishing too.
The concept is good. The art is great.
I could read this and have fun, but if the main character is this weak I'd rather not read it at all.
Nah, I'm quitting. I tried to endure it and read through more chapters but I just don't like the MC. She's frustrating, boring, and insufferable.
They didn't even fix the suing part and just let it happen because she's to indecisive to do anything. I thought she was gonna start changing herself. She showed some signs that she was sure to change, that she was determined to changed. But NO. In the next chapter she does nothing to prove that.
I've just had enough of her. Everything else is alright. Even though there's nothing interesting in the storyline, she's just too plain to me.
Not the type you'd see as the main character, but even as a side character she's too weak.
I'm out.
I expected it to be childish and uninteresting. To be honest, I actually intended to read a few chapters and quit if I don't find it great.
At the very first chapter, I almost quit then and there but I stayed for respect's sake.
I never expected I'd read it until the latest chapter. It was really good if you give it time.
The concept is unique and interesting. She played not as one of the main characters of the game, but as an advisor. Not the usual female lead, which is the first I've read.
I don't understand how some of the comments under this story thought it's childish and common when it's this interesting. I admit some parts have high schooler vibes but it's reasonable to some extent, so I continued the journey.
There were some plotholes and lack of information, like her family background, or at least how many years her mother was married to each of her husbands and the reason why they divorced.
I also wanted to know about her fellow advisor, the dark magician, and if they were possessed by the villainous dark magician or she IS that person.
The art is good. The character designs are alright. At first it gave high schooler vibes but it grew on me. And the ML is SO FINE. He's 19 but why so hot though
Nah, I'm not gonna read this. Cheating???
No matter how beautiful the art or how good the concept is, Cheating destroys its potential. And you know it.
Not a fan of cheating. I hate cheaters. And I don't want to read something stained in it.
Had I judged it by its cover, I would've read it already, because the cover is magnificent.
I know some parts of it already and spoilers and reviews already informed me enough, so I do think it's alright for me to not read it if I think I won't like it.
It's a matter of preference. Read it or worship it if you want, just don't put someone down for not liking what you like.
I too hate cheating as everyone should!! but I didn’t feel serena's actions as cheating feel like you will miss out on the amazing tension between serena and eiser & their love... serena never slept with frederick but if you already know this and still want to drop ofc you can we all drop stories (i recently dropped a manhwa because the male lead was a slave under fl and then someone told me that i should have expected slavery in a fantasy world and that its not a big deal bc its not real and i damn attacked her so i get it)

I really love how sociable the Uke is, he's also humble enough and considerate enough to know how hard it would be for both the Seme and his family to be estranged. To see him doing his best to convince his future father-in-law is astonishing. You would know he's raised well by his family.
I wanted to see more of their side stories and more of my grandbabies
