Not manga logic. Can definitely happen irl. There are people that you see everyday that you don’t take mental note of because they have nothing to do with you. Gen is an edgy, antisocial brat so Mike would never stick out to him because he never cared enough to notice him. That’s all there is to it.

It's not wrong I m also like uke in reality I m not interested in other people so even if my friends know some famous person i won't bother remembering faces or name easily forgetful type , I also one time talk to famous senior in my college i didn't knew they won awards for arts. People around me knew but I don't people like me exist who spend most time in library and other events.

Because who has time to know every single person they take a class with? Multiple classes at that…

It actually happened to me lolll
I had classmate once in physical ed (freshman course in college). He was really good-looking so I kinda noticed him but didn't pay much attention cause we weren't close. But we did talk twice or thrice since we had to play in groups at one point. He was really quiet but polite. After that semester, I randomly found a video of him online. He was an actor (he had a tv show and all. He was also about to star in a famous tv show adaptation) lolll I was a bit shocked.
I dont watch television at all. I just watch online, and even then I'm not really interested in local shows. So makes sense why I never saw or known him. My friends did, tho, and they kept telling me I should have talked to that guy more xD
There's also this one guy, same batch as me, whom I saw in passing. He was kinda loud and surrounded by people. I found out later on he was a newbie actor, too, who was doing commercials. He was friends with my classmate, probably HS friends.
Anyways, this type of manga plot really does happen in irl :)))

This author often has lesbian characters in her works in the background that you literally only know are lesbians through authors notes and twitter comics. She clearly wants to make yuri so bad but doesn’t for some reason. In Sleeping dead you can find out on twitter the aunt was sleeping with a younger female colleague and there are side comics where they find evidence of the aunt being gay. There’s another comic where she goes into detail in an authors note about a characters mom or something that we never even see and her lesbian relationship….i saw we hold on to hope
