I think that everything that the mc does is understandable. She went from being respected and loved knight commander to a weak and frail girl. She was killed by one of the people she trusts most. She was subjected to the unfamilar, twisted and harsh environment of nobility. Got engaged to the enemy commander and duke. Becomes a citizen of the one man she vowed to kill(da king). Finds out that her killer is living a happy and lavish life. Went from a strong and independent woman to a weak and powerless girl. Got harassed by a manipulative prince. Gets sick easily. Her father loves her but does not trust her in the slightest. Has problems with the previous body's memories. Got her long time dream as knight stripped from her by Khalid.
So, who wouldn't just snap at one point right?
Oh she is soooooo stupid for going in the rain yada yada yada
Let's see you keep you sanity after experiencing all of this. I'm not saying you guys are wrong...but isn't her reactions understandable? Reasonable? Expected?
I mean to me her reactions is what you would expect from someone who was a hot blooded knight who defended her kingdom with the might of a warrior and is reduced into a powerless daughter of a count in the enemy kingdom, with no influence, power, or a strong body.
Knights are expected to adapt and overcome. It clear that she adapted quite well and survived. But she finally snapped and I'm not surprised by her reaction.

This has some spoilers for Stepmothers Marchen
I love how this manhwa manages to convey such deep emotions so perfectly, and its not just because of the beautiful art, but how they convey through the art. Some parts may get confusing, but it is still a rollercoaster ride of emotions.
Like how Stepmothers Marchen expressed Shuli's suffering through her first life, the complexity of human emotions and shielded she was of how her children truly felt about her. It was heartbreaking how her first life continued on and how devastating it was to her children when they found out about her brutal death. I especially liked how the eldest son's wife to be was guilt stricken, it was *chefs kiss* perfect for the who scene.

Y'know i kinda admire Aria's mom. Though she was a prostitute? Commoner? But she still took the chance when the count for a better life for both her and her daughter even though she held no love for the count, she seems to be a romantic so it was brave of her to give up love and focus on a better life for her daughter.
She does her best to be a noble, and offers aria love and advice whenever Aria needs it. She is acts like a doting mom to Aria, and was ecstatic when her daughter found love.
She even offered for them to run away when she noticed that the Count family was crumbling, for both of their safety.
I'm not saying she is the best mom out there, but a good one that cherishes her daughter. This is very evident in the recent chapters of the manhwa
Ok ok guys calm down...even though we all hate the brothers since the beginning... its a widely accepted that we do favor Reynold more than Derrick. That is because Reynold has shown more character development than Derrick, and it seems that he will develop further into the plot. But Derrick...eh fuck you
