Idk I think he could definitely see them as a kid but denied it bc he was scared of how his mom was affected. I still think it’s a hereditary disorder for him, which doesn’t seem outside of the realm of what this manhwa depicts like u said. His home and the dorm are pretty stressful I think which would connect the places he’s seen “ghosts,” at least rereading it definitely seems that way.
