This was just wonderful.I felt like I was watching a psychological Hollywood movie. The progress, the development, the depth, the art,the ending everything was phenomenal. The only place where I think the story could have improved was to show some more of Alex's childhood.Otherwise it's just perfection.I'd really like to see a movie based on this.

So I just wanna say something about the side couple -
MD and Chanwoo. Really admieed Chanwoo's character because you know he is not your stereotypical uke who is always simping after the seme. The basically introduced the whole BDSM world to me. After reading much about BDSM and all I re-readed this and Idk what to say really. There were so many scenes where MD came off as manipulative and egoistic. The first time he was pissed becaus Chanwoo wasn’t simping like the other subs he had which was very egoistic of him. And then he surprised Chanwoo with taking up their play and being more violent. I will not say I know everything about BDSM but one thing about this is you never do anything without your partner's consent. He suddenly did that and hoped Chanwoo was ok with it!?!? Where is the consent? Also in that final scene where he kissed that other dude wasn’t he just being straight up manipulative just to bring out Chanwoo's confession? I feel like the author could have given him some character development too since he obviously needed that

Okay, I realized that this is a lot of people's introduction into BDSM and as someone who has been into it in real life for a couple years now, I do want to say that it's very unfair that everyone only comes at MD. MD had Chanwoo sign a whole contract in the beginning, and part of that was establishing a safe word. While of course ideally there should be consent every step of the way, realistically in the heat of the moment, there is a lot to explore and as things go, you won't always get explicit consent for each new thing. This is why a safe word is EXTREMELY important for both parties. A sub's most important tool is a safeword, because in some ways, BDSM is about exploration and there are many things you won't know that you like until you try it, and in case it ever gets too much for you, the sub has a safe word so that the dom understands what boundaries are being pushed, because looking uncomfortable or sounding like you're in pain is kind of...expected, but in BDSM those things could easily go hand in hand with pleasure, so it really is up to the sub to be able to communicate out loud that they don't want something and most importantly, USE THE SAFEWORD. BDSM includes 2 parties, and even though one is master, the sub has an equally important and active role.
The whole time, Chanwoo was being extremely stubborn, and he refused to use the safeword until even MD was scared for him, and Chanwoo kind of played it off always as though it was nothing even if it was too far. That is a huge breach of contract and if you 're going to have that mentality, YOU SHOULD NOT EVER participate in that kind of play. People tend to forget that he's a huge masochist who loves sex and is very experienced, and also a grown ass adult that is more than capable of making his own choices- and he is choosing the entire time not to say the safeword and not to communicate what he truly feels. This is extremely immature of him and downright dangerous. MD was being a prick at the end there, but technically, he was doing what was within their agreement and he immediately stops the play when the safeword is called, as he should have. After being flat out rejected and then chanwoo bring some other guy to him to engage in their sex play, I don't think it's fair to say that MD was the only one in the wrong, or that is was unreasonable for MD to engage with the other guy at all, and while it is manipulative and that isn't okay, he really was within his bounds.

It’s not MD isn’t a good guy because I believe he is, it’s just the setting we see him in & we barely seen their story just for a little bit so it’s not for us to say if they get a character development. I’d love to see them both change into better people, because chanwoo allows ppl to abuse him on the daily THATS an issue! If they had an actual story I’d love to see it.

I mean honestly, I've seen similar toxic relationships, and it's mostly because Chanwoo doesn't seem to have ever really experienced an actual loving kind of relationship before that he makes a lot of stupid decisions, but I do agree that it was pretty messy and didn't make much sense even for him. I almost thought it to be a little cruel that after flat out rejecting MD, he'd bring a guy to him and then somehow agree to engage in sex play with him?? I mean, MD also handled that in not a very human way but both MD and Chanwoo were being pretty toxic to each other.
I don't think that in real life, MD and Chanwoo could be called cute or healthy because most people wouldn't recover or be as unfazed as Chanwoo was, but because the author makes his character so generally unbothered by things that are totally not okay, their relationship is I guess easier to support? If that makes sense. Idunno, I do wish they would have had a more healthy reconciliation that wasn't just MD smiling as Chanwoo cried his heart out for a bit out of jealousy, but I did love the story and them as a whole.

Um so I am confused does police not exist in these stories? Those bullies and his twin brother literally drove that other brother to death and they are gonna let them go this easily!?!!? WTAF

Not true I’ve read so many stories like this that made me made because they can even have the person on a camera or a recording of it happening even other witnesses but either the judge and the police force get bought of or the witness “suddenly disappears” or also bought if like they make it very clear in these stories that money and power is everything

Because of the fact their parents got money and you see how the parents trusted their boys plus he was basically hoeing with the man who did that to his brother and you saw how much influence he had and neither of the twins told their parents so the parents didn’t dig into it one didn’t tell them because as you’ve said he would get disowned while the other didn’t tell him because he was still in denial his brother would do such a thing and because he felt he wanted to protect his brother on his own and when they had the soul switch thing he just felt he could handle it hisself he had no rights to go to the parents as if they were his like the problem that twin had was now just his problem he needed to fix on his on

I’ve read before that bullying is a huge problem in South Korea because it’s just brushed to the side, the police don’t take it seriously/don’t do anything about it, and the only punishment that bullies get is usually their parents grounding them or getting suspended from school for a day or two. Honestly if you look into Korean culture and such, or even in other Korean media, it’s obvious that bullying is a pretty big issue in Korean schools, and while many people in Korea think it’s messed up, they just don’t really do anything about it.
A breath of fresh air among all the other rapey yaoi. The characters were well developed and well drawn . I really hope that other authors gets inspired from this author and make beautiful yaoi with consent
