In one of the first chapters, that guy friend of the uke tries to pin him, but is interrupted by the seme and is allowed to watch the uke and seme. I wanted him to come to their next meeting too and watch again. I wanted that to happen a few times before either switching places with one of them or just join in... Then later I'd want one to get tossed aside... The author could have some fun going back and forth with plenty of heartbreak, desperate longing and passionate love...

I'm afraid I don't write, that is because when I try to write a story I get overwhelmed by the possibilities of the story, for example what sort of world should they live in? should it be a strange land where dragons are made out of fabric? or seeming normal place but twisted characters? and those are just the basic facts of the universe the characters live in... I can't write because i get lost in the facts and lose the story. But it is different when I read a story where the world is already constructed and I can see how they interact... and then I can see where the story should go... or at least what I would find most exciting. But thank you for the compliment, it made me happy.

Try starting with fan fiction. The world and character details are already set in canon, you can manipulate them from there. I think you would not only be good at it, but I think you would also find writing your own stories easier later. You might just enjoy the hell out of it too. If you ever need a proof reader I'd be happy to help. I'll look forward to reading your work. (⌒▽⌒)

Well, that sounds reasonable, I would do the same if I was allowed to (I am not allowed to cross the road without someone holding my hand - jk)
And if some lovely martinis were being served ... well then I think we should all participate.
As for the rest, if Asami or Kuon or even Touya were on the other side, I would definitely break the rules and cross.

This is such a lovely conversation to stumble upon, I usually avoid comments like plague because of the spoilers but couldn't decide whether to read the manga or not. Writing fanfiction personally gave me writers' block, hope you have better luck. Ciao !

For anyone interested, the light novel can be found at: http://www.wuxiatranslations.com/tensei-shitara-slime-datta-ken/

Thanks for the link, I'm glad to see someone else picked this up. Months ago, I read someone's translation of this, and became interested, but those translations stopped. Reading web and light novel translations can be tricky, as various people pick up and drop series on their personal blogs scattered around the internet, disconnected from one another. You never know when someone new has picked up a series that lulled, unless someone chimes in with a handy link.

I'm actually sort of new to the light novel world, but I do know what you mean by how difficult it is to find anything. I look forward to a time where everything is all posted in one place on a big site similar as this one but for light novels. By creating a standard system, will enable people to be better able to access their chapters. After all groups of talented people had to get together and pour their energy into translating these novels in order to share the joy of reading. In order to do right by both the reader and the translators, there will need to be a master website or index.

Hello :) Thank you for the link! Though it said they dropped the series. But on further investigations (scrolling down the comment section) someone kindly posted the new translator's website. Not sure if you're interested but here it is:

I was interested enough to hunt down the raws

I really hope for more soon

Managamap: http://www.mangamap.com/Battle_Through_The_Heavens/
has presently has up to 31. I reported it so the awesome team that runs this site should have the new chapters up soon.

Also for those interested the light novel (in English) is available (for free) at http://www.wuxiaworld.com/btth-index.

On the last page of chapter 63 the person hinted about there being plans for an anime... is this true... or just wishful thinking... I though korean/webcomics werent generally made into animation?

I think this will be adapted as an anime for real, there is some kind of short trailer on the web (i forgot whether it's comico or..) for more info! http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2015-04-03/relife-anime-teased-with-project-launching-video/.86624

Your welcome! :)

what do you mean by korean? if you mean about the manwa style. actually when you buy it in volume the style is manga style but in web/smartphone its manwa style for easy reading
and also there is a webcomic that has been made into anime like hori-san to miyamura-kun.

By Korean I really was referring to the origin country and not just one of the numerous styles. Previously I've gotten really excited about a few Korean stories, but after some research onto several different sites, I found that most people said that it was unlikely for any anime to be made of a Korean "manga". I do not know why, but it's true that I couldn't find any anime versions of the many that I read.
I like chapter 3s ending... now that's turning a cliche on it's head
