i’m all for kind, pure-hearted mcs, but this level of gullibility is annoying. dude wanted that dih so bad he didn’t care about the scam at all, or his sister. but ofc author had to throw some resolution to the scam arc in a page or two. i blame the pacing for how their reactions come off SO unnatural, like i needed more buildup not a timeskip… (mc waiting 4 yrs for ml just to declare he’s moving on is so funny xD actions speak louder than words babe)
to everyone above saying his sister deserved it for things kids say on a whim, whereas the ml is a literal criminal, maybe check on ur double standards and misogyny, yeah?
jooin the man that you are (/TДT)/ clutching my pearls in every sex scene because of how intimate they get. mittens is the cutest nickname ever!!! glad it wasn’t “kitten” which i attribute to cringe alpha dom daddies lol. also found myself relating to jooin a lot… <//3
re ch 54: sob story or not, jooyung is a hateful rapist who deserves jail time & his dick cut off. like at that point any sympathy for his past went out the window. and ye-gyeom disassociating shattered me. what a painful read
re ending: i love the main couple to bits. the 2nd couple are perfectly toxic for each other i guess, it’s ick (but i may be biased lol). anyway, the artist’s use of imagery and parallels is commendable, coming full circle in a way that feels intentional from the beginning. the part where jooin said “love doesn’t always need to be a rollercoaster. otherwise you won’t appreciate the little things” /10
sad it’s over. now i’m back to wading through generic looking bls again, looking for art style & storytelling as great as this

not that a 9.0 is low, but it was a pretty wholesome read so i wondered why it wasn’t rated even higher. then I got to the last chapter and yeah, that ending felt rushed and there wasn’t even a proper confession. what wasted potential…
