that’s REALLY fucked up. you shouldn’t see the treatment of a marginalized person as relief or an outlet for emotion. just because they’re a man doesn’t make the treatment any less awful. it’s two marginalized groups: women and gay men. the second you look at the mistreatment of someone any different than you normally would, you become vulnerable to extremely harmful ideologies. so while you think it’s just fiction, your mindset can easily start to influence your real behaviors, ideas, words, etc left unchecked. this can easily lead to incel/right-wing thinking bro.

Men in homosexual relationships can be abused or mistreated just like women in heterosexual relationships in real life.
