reading the novel and god the tension between the two is thick as hell. theyre both so manipulative and cunning its refreshing in a way. i also see the artist changed some scenes from the novel and made the tension more palpable but i think its ok if they didnt change it cos theyre gonna have the most toe curling chemistry which i think is bcos theyre both pretty sharp witted and sly. ofc this is all cos this just fits my type and this story wont be it for those who want that simple non exhausting kind of love cos this is gonna be lost in the cloud 2.0

yep thats not in the novel. the part where jun took yohans cap and used his own hoodie to makeshift a pillow for yohan also isnt there. im not sure if the artist wants to increase the amount of romantic interactions between the main couple. but tbh i wish it follows the novel. then again it could get better. ig i just want romance to be built up slowly instead of rushing into physical interactions. i rlly hope they raise the tension between the two first like in the novel
ohh i just read the latest chapter. only saw the raws at first so didnt know what was happening. the scene didnt happen in the novel but the dialogue did. i guess the artist improvised it. jun panicking abt his social standing instead of what yohan was doing actually follows the novel (from the raws i thought he was basically melting in yohans touch). theres this push and pull game between them in the novel thats so enjoyable and i rlly hope the artist makes it all even better
yeahh i get you, i also prefer having a slowburn rather that getting a quick romance story, but i think the artist is just kinda speeding things up, maybe the novel is too long for them(? idk that is just my hypothesis (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

the manhwa left out a certain part from the novel. it may seem trivial but i actually dont think it is so im just gonna point it out. when ilay saw taeui crying he pushed taeui off (here in the novel, taeui almost fell off the bed but ilay caught him again immediately after pushing him) i think this part describes ilays complicated feelings for taeui. he clearly hates seeing taeui hurt or suffering but yet hes the cause and since hes a psychopath he doesnt know how to deal with it
overall the whole scene and the scene coming afterwards in a new ch is gonna be the turning point in their relationship

Nah Ilay's crazier. Among the three, he's the only one who was born insane while both Caesar and Zhenya turned out "bad" because of their childhoods. He also gets crazier as the story progresses but the manhwa isn't there yet... while Zhenya turns into [redacted] and becomes all lovey-dovey and Caesar will calm down.

Yh that corpse part of Caesar is why I put ilay on top of the list. It just creeped me out. (At least ilay was just talk) I’ve read all the passion novels esp suite but haven’t read the other two yet. I’ve tried CA but the SA was so much worse in the novel. For me ilay is still greener (at least as green as he can manage lol) but that’s just my personal preference bcos he’s so down bad for taeui in the later novels
But considering childhood trauma, yh I agree with Caesar being the best cos at least he has reasons for his - whatever he is now. Zhenyas like ilay tho. No traumatic experiences.
