So this is just my take, but, Since toya is now shown to have white hair it kinda goes with my theory he has an ice quirk and isn't dabi. All their hair colors tend to go with what their quirks are,(and for natsu and rei who don't have confirmed quirks, they apparently both can't tolerate hot whether and hate it, hinting towards cold related quirks) and while I know people will point out endeavor said something along the lines of "toya had the strongest fire power" so that must mean it's a fire quirk, not necessarily because that just means it was incredibly strong and I THINK (could be wrong) that the actual Japanese writing for that meant strength in that situation. Yes I could be wrong about this and dabi could be a todoroki, but it's almost TOO obvious ya know?

I feel like it cant be a mistake that they made Toya's hair red in the anime. Hori knew that he'd be important in the story, so a detail like that wouldnt have gone overlooked. I feel like he's trying to confuse us lol. Or maybe Toya's hair was white the whole time but he still has fire power? Just because his quirk is fire related doesnt mean his hair has to match that ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

So you're saying, you think all Endeavor said was that Touya was very strong but there was no mention of fire (that fire part was something unilaterally added in by the translators)?

I don't think Toya's hair being white in the manga can be something to base the counter argument on 100%. I didn't see the anime, so I don't know the exact shade, but while it is true that darker reds fall into the black coloring spectrum in mangas and white usually represent lighter colors, more vibrant reds sometimes can also be colored as white.

Something about this relationship is so refreshing, it actually feels like there is a connection and it's overall just real pleasing to read. Makes me giddy.

I don't think he wants to use her though I feel he definitely likes having the connection to a accomplished magic craftsman. With the little bit of backstory on his noble house essentially creating a magic artifact water system it makes me suspect he had someone in his life like the MC's father who fostered an appreciation for magic artifacts. His interest seems genuine.
She’s so manipulative... I like dominate women/submissive guys as much as the next person but she leaves a bad taste in my mouth...
