At the begining they are older. Probably college students or older (I can't remember,sorry) but the main story is their past and sometimes it shows what they are doing right now.

I actually really love the uke, their so... weird... funny in a way? A kinda unpredictable character, but still, I can see why some people can't stand him. Hopefully, when the child is born, he'll start caring more about the seme, and be more adult like. Until then...╮(￣▽￣)╭
