i think the plot is kinda weak. and things are happening for no reason. idk if it's the translation or it's just rly messy. there also wasnt even a single hint abt this margery girl and that red pendant. and how she's related to norine or if theres any relation at all. i know youre not supposed to have answers right away but still, a hint would be great. then theres this curse upon the emperor. then mermaids. and he can turn into a wolf and talk to animals??????? and why did the dungeon suddenly collapse?????? and i thought witch hunts were prohibited (?) but the ppl were not even hesitant in doing it???? likeee????? the plot just looks like different stories combined and jumbled together. i read til ch22 to give it a chance but srsly... this wouldve been great if the author thought more abt the flow and the details of the story. i mean, i think it has potential at the very least

i know. but im so disappointed how he discovered it bcos the girl he likes somehow got involved. and in the early chapters, he was near the area right so i hoped maybe he was doing his own research as the emperor bcos yeah he doesnt know everything thats happening in the empire. and there were mermaids. they seem loyal to him and if something was happening at sea, it would be realistic if they had even an inkling abt it. well anw, those are just my expectations for this kind of genre and setting thats why im disappointed that i found it lacking.
