well basically what is still missing in this fourth life is the death (or near death experience) for dongbaek (and the seme has to be the one responsible for that again as the last three times). And I mean it's all leading up to that. They both experience the pain from their past wounds, the both got in touch with that son and agent of god who also always was there in that crucial moment in their past life and they are facing many hurdles rn. Also you could already see dongbaek growing weaker and weaker so I believe his constitution is gonna be the cause of his death in the life eventually (or it is supposed to be, unless the seme manages to save him this time around despite failing the last three times.) But this time it is of course a different situation since this time they are in an established romantic relationship so unless the seme does some dumb ship like distancing himself from dongbaek then maybe he'll be able to save him.
