This has like every single toxic ABO trope.....and yet I love it hahah. I have no idea why, I guess I feel the characters have an actual emotional connection that isn't sold has some stupid pheromones fated pair crap. Like, they seem to actually have a chance at falling in love - and it's taking time and effort on the seme's part.
I sincerely love how yugyeom has a sense of palpable contempt for everyone. I feel so often we get MC's who bow out after the slightest level of affection. He's dealing with the being trapped in a horrible situation and has appropriate feelings about it, makes the story way more compelling compared to the typical crap.

Idk about this one, I know it's not that deep but I feel weird about this. What the ceo is doing to the mc is literally sex trafficking aha. It's also implied the "bad" actress meets with the chairman (i.e., gets roles in exchange for sex or through "sponsors"), that is also sex trafficking. That is by far worse than recreational drug use.
I think Korea's perception of drugs is definitely skewered due to their ridiculous laws, and this manwha shows it. People at a party were taking drugs, so everyone who attended the party deserves to have their careers stripped away from them. Hm, ok. MC doesn't question it. Like literally not a thought...so don't think the author thought about it too much.
This is just such a weird setting for a love story. CEO is portrayed as powerful...but he's not, he's just slimy. Just like how Harvey Weinstein is slimy, or Jeffrey Epstein. Idk whatever. Also what even actually happened to the MC - I presume he was forced fed some sort of date rape drug, and then what...his face got pushed into a cake?
