I know I dun exactly hate the guy, but im just saying that his love, his way to protect his daughter, created the exact dagger to kill her instead, so amidst all of the misunderstanding, MC didn't understand cuz nobody fucking explained shit, and she assumed that the dagger was not to protect herself but to kill herself, and the only person who she had hope would trust her at least abandoned her, MC's perspective wise
so that very way he thought to protect her daughter, is the thing that killed her in the end, sad
and he will forever live with such guilt for the rest of his life, but good thing she got regressed, and things can still be fixed
