it would have been funny if the new readhead was the homophobic bully from the beginning of the story, he could've gone through a self-discovery of why he's being such a prick (hint: it's bc he's gay and doesn't want to accept it) but then I went back and his hair and eyes are completely different, oh well too bad...... so new character it is I guess
