I do thinking in Yukine side, he's a boy, so his way of thinking is like a brat, that also includes how all the time until his dead he's being a victim abuse by his dad, and how his mom and sis neglected him by leaving him (can see thru Yato's first encounter with Yuki in first one, Yato even shed a tears), he always curious about one point after another because how he want to have an existant in people, we can see his action like wanted some attention even tho some if wrong, most of them, Yato on the other hand isn't lied or didn't wanted to tell his past is also considered right too, since most shiki if their past is revealed they can become gone for good, I also think Yato all this time acts alone without Yuki because he is so used to thinking that he is a calamity god, the one who brought disaster to other (again, this so called father is the one to cause Yato's behaviour to that extent), so he didn't want to involved Yuki, both of them is used by the sorcerer, I'm so hate the sorcerer to brainwashed Yuki and "implanting" Yato that should Yato killed him, so is Yato's existance is turned up to dust ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ
