I honestly kinda curious to read this manga, I looked at the photos and the art is amazing, but seeing how nearly all the comments below is roasting the emperor is kinda make me hesitated to read it, I meant, even if we hate the emperor, the title kinda gives in that the fl will ended up with the emperor no? that's why I just wanna ask if somehow there's a spoiler if the emperor will change for the better or not because if it's not, then poor the fl to entangled with him (づ￣ ³￣)づ

it's just I love how our MC tried his hardest to avoid yaoiness in his way, honestly thought, while it's fun to see him kept his distanced from the possible couple I deep down wanted our MC to have an admirer too, or harem behind his back, because even thought he's a mob character, we can see how he interacts well with his friend, at least either he's popular guy without realizing it or he's in a group of popular guys even thought he think himself didn't stand out much, seeing the spoiler from mangaka's twitter makes me happy a bit that our MC has an admirer, but deep down there's a slight of hope that I wish Toujou take an interest in MC ( I knew he loves his brother, but I'm just can't help but hoping lol )
isn't the emperor and the empress is a besties since they're a children? why did he got this cold to her, if it's the new concubine's behaviour is contrast to her, why did he has to compare? it would be better to hear what his wife talking to rather than believing this stupid gogo gaga concubine -_-

I’m currently reading the novel, and lemme tell you, she (trashta) is doing it on purpose. Trashta just wants the empress’ throne. She doesn’t even love the emperor. It’s really frustrating knowing this and seeing the emperor treat Navier like literal shit and always comparing her to Trashta, making ridiculous accusations and completely trusting the lies out of Trashta’s mouth instead of even BOTHERING to listen to the one person who’s been there for him since childhood.
SPOILERS:
I agree with you on some points, however Rashta never came into the palace wanting to become the empress. She had just escaped her life as a slave and saw Sovieshu as a lifeline. She became heavily dependant on him and she was envious of Navier for being born into a life of luxury and high status. For that reason she was able to easily be manipulated and that's exactly what Duke Eloy did. He was the one who planted the idea of becoming the Empress into her head (amoung other petty things), but I do agree with you that Rashta has always been causing trouble on purpose and for her own personal gain.
oh my, rashta really make a mess there, I kinda hoping the emperor will see the light of it but then again in chapter 1 he divorced the empress -_-
I hope that's the case, if not he failed to become the emperor since he can't judged which one is good and bad, rashta is quite oblivious to most cases but he just plain ignoring it (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Oh lmao that was a typo, I meant Elgy. And yes you're right about that, but Sovieshu never intended to make Rashta's position as empress permanent. His plan was to make her the empress so that when she had "their" baby, it would be considered a legitimate heir of the throne. He wanted to remarry Navier after a year and reinstate her as the empress. It was Elgy that manipulated Rashta to push for her to take Navier's place, saying a concubines position is and never will be a stable one. Sovieshu could get rid of her at any point. At this point, she was already untrustworthy of Sovieshu so she really took Elgy's words to heart. She started to push to become empress for the sake of her child and to solidify her place in the luxurious high life.
wow so that's why at the chapter 1 the emperor is so shocked when the empress plans to remarry right after divorce, hahahaha karma got him, thank you for sharing infos, can't wait to see him breaking in a cold sweat like first chapter ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

I'm also happy as well with the fellow readers in the comments as to how lovely Leslie is, and how good it was she's getting thru with the jerk spiraldo (pun intended :v) but really, I'm worried about Konrad, he's suffering from his dad, I hope he can obtained his happiness too, Leslie might encounter some problem in the future, since her guardians is a grizzly bear, female lion and 2 panthers with her I can rest assured with her XD
some comments said the novel isn't finished yet, I wondered how the ending it would be, this is the first shoujo manga that I can't think how it would end, while I hope that they would reconcile and have their own way, but somehow I too wished them to be together in the end, it's painful, but I do hope the wound shall be lifted little by little, since I don't think both of them could love anyone after the tragedy
this manga is so related to me since my uncle has this same problem, he lost his gf, they already dating for 7 years since high school (they've been friends since kindergarden), but the girl dies in protecting him, so it kinda haunting him, I remember him being expressionless for 3 years, now he already married to the girl's friend, right now he is stabil and do everything normally, including pampering his wifeand being so kind to others, but his expression, even tho he's smile, his eyes not and it painful to us family, and I bet his wife knew, while reading this manga I got cried (even when I typing this I'm crying T.T) I just think, if his ex is back to life, I wonder if I can see his smile again, my uncle is just 6 years apart from me and I remember how he is so cute and cheerful back then and yeah his gf is also energetic, I relly love her too back then, after that he suddenly mature and smile less, even if he smile, it's strained T.T

I recommend you to read the two, it's quite refreshing to see our MCs tries hard to survive (Bertia case a bit different but it's similar), yet they didn't realize how their action makes them gained more favor from their supposed to be enemies XD
