Y’all, I’m not too sure! But it’s not bad to have a little bit of hope, but someone on MAL said there should be two or one more chapter scheduled to be released in the future. MAL has incorrectly labeled this as having only 4 vols when THERES currently 5, so there is a possibility to some percentage that it’s still ongoing.... don’t take my full word for it but like come on, that ending was weak and undeniably unsatisfying. There definitely has to be more closure to the story than this

Patiently going to wait till this bullshit goes over and we can finally start to see some chemistry develop between the two characters. I feel like everything is just going in circles and nothing is like.... amazingly complex about the characters. They feel just as 2D as their own digital drawings. The only character that has managed to bring in interesting conflict and depth to the story is Persephone. Right now, a lot of characters are just very irritatingly and over the top. Like Ji Wook seriously has a jealously/possessive problem that’s a bit too much. And the uke is just easily gullible and shallow. I know we’re still in like the first act and everything so that’s why I’ll patiently wait for the good shit to start happening

Rei does say they are a girl at heart at one point but they never actually make it clear if they are transgender or just transvestite. In the first volume Rei is transvestite, meaning pronouns are still he/him. Rei even says in the first volume that they are a boy. But I agree, it does rub me a bit wrong. Also I don't think Yamada meant any harm in what he said, although I do think it could be harmful.

Ummm that’s very false. Japan celebrates pride and there are in fact gay communities there. Although small, the LGBTQ+ community in Tokyo is in fact one of the biggest in all of Asia. The thing with japan is that they are way more conservative and prejudice than in the West, thus gay and trans people there are very much hidden and rarely come out to their families/friends. Japan does have their own LGBTQ+ center/organization for Japanese people. They’ve also legalized same sex marriage, although only in one specific location which is at the Tokyo Disney Resort in Urayasu, Chiba. Just becuz they are a more prejudice country doesn’t mean there aren’t gay or trans people there. I suggest you inform yourself a little bit before you say stuff like that
