I rarely go for gl ships for the mcs in straight stories tbh. I love shipping the side characters, but usually i prefer the male lead anyways. I’ve only gotten second male lead syndrome once, for iklies in death is the only ending for a villainess. HOWEVER, this manga is playing up the maid and the fl’s relationship so much, that i feel like the actual love interest is sort of like a wet noodle. You probably don’t understand what i mean, but

I'm rereading this story for the second time, and I felt a bit uncomfortable the first time, however the second time around, the attitude of eve is glaring. Isn't she basically sexually harassing ansian at the beginning? I'm sure we all noticed that she was pan, so her actions couldn't be written off as being the close friendship that's found between 'girls'. If a man said the same thing, chances are we would all pounce on him, even if he said it in the same innocent context as her. She doesn't have much regard for boundaries, and I feel like the ml's lenient behavior towards it, is making the actions seem more acceptable than they really should be.

I FUCKING READ THE PREQUEL TO THIS AND I KNEW IMMEDIATELY THAT SHE WOULD HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH THEIR HIGHSCHOOL TEACHER IN THE FUTURE

Some of y'all are just being annoying at this point. The comment section has been declaring who the male lead was for the past 2 or 3 months. The clues were right there in the story too. I honestly don't know what to say at this point. You can't come to a story that clearly states this and sit there complaining. All the comments expressing their annoyance are just becoming irritating. If you don't like the story, just leave. All the angry comments are ruining the experience for other readers. ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ

I read some spoilers and Keira's mom wasn't worth an ounce of pity either. Apparently, she always bullied the first wife(cossette's mom) and plotted with her dad to get 'cossette's mother' killed. The mother was running away trying to save her daughter but Keira's grandpa sent assassins who killed the kid and the 1st duchess. The duchess summoned the devil in order to save her daughter corvette but the devil tricked her and instead inhabited her daughter's body to wreak havoc in the future. The duke knew that his wife was being bullied but didn't do anything because he followed the tradition of 'neutrality. （￣へ￣） I don't think anyone in her family other than her and her brother is a decent person. The grandpa, mom, and dad are all pieces of shit. Her dad did everything following a stupid principle of neutrality because he lived like that as a child, the problem was that the consequences were drastic. Her mother and grandpa destroyed 2 innocent people's lives for their own greed.

Is it just me..? Or is the art getting better the more you look at it?

I get his side and I get her side so the comments supporting the only side are all pissing me off. The worst part is that I understand the commentator's perspective so I'm just stressed now.

I love oraebani but the fact that his face looks like he's 12 paired with the body of a 23-year-old is a bit offputting for me? I don't know, it just doesn't look proportional and seems like a bad choice of character design.

I dont know if its just me, but roxanna seems like an actual villain. Which i love(psycho character are my favorite), but its like she became the very thing she hated her family for. Not mad though I’m so happy that there’s a ‘villainess’ character who is ACTUALLY cruel. I hate the whole ‘indifferent but deep down kind’ thing when its used to justify a villainess being weak.
