If you're entire "personality" revolves around living freely and unapologetically after getting yourself into a position where you are expected to do things a certain way, perhaps you just don't have a good personality? If you're gonna have a ceremony than just get married. Is shishikura supposed to be happy about kotani faking it out like this? The whole point of a ceremony is to get married it isn't gonna mean anything if shishikura knows none of it is real the whole time is kotani afraid of commitment or what? He better have a valid reason that's not just him being uninterested otherwise he's just gonna be a complete asshole. Personally I hope that the wedding ceremony will make kotani realize he actually wouldn't mind getting married to shishikura for real, I hope that shishikura won't just settle for this half assed solution in the end
